Up North Vaca

Last Thursday my mom and I headed up north for a short weekend getaway. Thursday-Sunday. All of those days it was crappy, rainy weather.. so no boat rides. :(. BUT we did have visitors Friday-Sunday from Brett, Kristin, Jack, and Cayman.We had a very relaxed, low-key weekend anyway.

Girls Birthday

This will be one of those  "no picture just sum up" blog post from Kristin and Lindsay's birthday celebration last Wednesday.

As we are getting older.. our birthday celebrations get more and more low key--which is ok, because everybody needs one of those kind of days. The family got together at our house.Kristin has hit her age of 31, and Lindsay has hit her age of 29. (or will hit it on Friday... btw its her golden! She's been telling me that since my birthday!) Anyway... Dad grilled for us, Mom made cake.. yummy!!

Kim and I got the girls some pretty cute, totally from us birthday cards. We stopped giving gifts expect for Kim and I. Mom just had to the Kris and Linds something small. Other than that a nice low key birthday night for them!

Summer Fun with Etzels

Over the past 2 days I've spent some time with Kristin, Brett and Jack. Jackson and I have been playing, reading stories, swimming and more!

Kris and I were hanging out in Jack's room and she pulled out the diapers he wears now and the one he wore when he was first born.. Now were getting ready for Beaba #2!

My, have things changed over the last 13 1/2 months.

 Yesterday afternoon I went to hangout at Golden Lake with them. Kristin and Brett went in the water with J, he LOVES it! I swear the child has absolutely no fear at all.

Sweet Summertime!

I am now offcially on summer vaca. Yay!! This is the first time in a few years I've been home to start off summer. My parents are up north until tomorrow, then my mom, Kristin, Brett Jack and I head up north next weekend. (I dont know if Kim is coming for sure or not)

Gracie is adapting well to her new home filled with choas of 3 other dogs. Her and Juneau love to play, they play all the time together. Juneau likes to start the playing in the house, but it's more allowed outside then inside. Gracie is a great dog, she's been taking over Juneau and jumping on the couch to sleep.

On Monday Brett, Kristin and Jack came over so that Jack could get his first haircut by Gramma GoGo (as Jack calls Glamma). I was in charge of taking pictures of the big moment, while my friend Stephanie had to distract him. He looks SO handsome, such a big boy! Glamma told him if he was a good boy he'd earn a popsicle. Jack did earn the popsicle, a bit messy but hey, he's just a baby! :)

Gracie.

Gracie is a Golden Doodle. Golden Retriever Poodle mix. She's 5 years old. We got her from the lady we bought the new house from. All dogs get along great. Living with 4 dogs should be an adventure....
